Our Business
The word "paragon" originates from the Italian word "paragone,"
meaning "touchstone," which was used to test the purity of gold. The Italian word comes from the Greek parakonân, meaning "to sharpen or whet," and ultimately from the Greek root ak-, signifying sharpness. Over time, the meaning evolved to denote a model or pattern of excellence, reflecting the idea of something being tested and proven worthy.
Today we look at this as our way to strive for excellence and be paragons of our craft. It is our name and our culture so everything we do has to be upheld to this standard.
Our Technology
There is honestly no reason for us to race to the bottom for our technology investments, we pride our business on having the latest, greatest and most advanced machine tools on the market. From the actual cutting tools we use to the tool holders to the actual machine tool spindles that hold them, we don't cut corners. That allows us to produce the best possible products we can. The same goes for our engineering team.
